The Bold Type season 2 kicking off with two-hour premiere

The Bold Type season 2

When The Bold Type season 2 starts airing come June 12, it is going to follow the pattern of many Freeform series before it in giving you a two-hour premiere! This is a way in which to get viewers hooked on the show right away and beyond that, also really introduce what the second season of the story will be. There will be changes to the narrative, but the center of the story is still very much the same thing: The tale of characters try to do the best that they can to excel in an industry that can be often extremely trying and difficult.

So want to know completely what’s ahead? We’ve got synopsis for the first two episodes of the season below.

Season 2 episode 1, “Feminist Army” – “Jane is excited to publish her first big piece for Incite, especially since she’s writing about a female CEO she admires, and she knows Jacqueline will be reading it. Sutton is thrown when a new corporate policy seems to give her and Richard the green light on their romance. And Adena grows frustrated when Kat seems too eager to flaunt their burgeoning relationship.”

Season 2 episode 2, “Rose Colored Glasses” – “Believing it shouldn’t matter, Kat bristles when Alex recommends she highlights that she is black in her company bio. However, while introducing her parents to Adena, Kat is forced to confront how her avoidance of labels has affected her life. Sutton is horrified when she discovers her fellow fashion assistants think she was asked to organize a photo shoot featuring “honorable men” for reasons other than her talent. And Jane tries to defend herself after the fallout from her Incite article, which doesn’t go as planned.”

If nothing else, don’t you have to give Freeform credit for being so willing to share details as to what’s coming? There is a lot to be excited about here and we are certainly happy to celebrate it!
