STAR season 3 premiere date hopes for Fox drama
Let’s not beat around the bush here — more than likely, you are going to see STAR season 3 come on the air at some point in the fall. Namely, think in terms of late September. That’s when a good 80-90% of fall shows premiere, and there’s no good reason for Fox to push things back here. As a matter of fact, it’s almost impossible to fathom Fox putting it on the air a little bit later than this.
The third season of STAR will more than likely follow a similar structure to season 2 in that it will have a batch of episodes in the fall; provided a big shake-up, it is reasonable to assume that the next batch of episodes will air at some point in the spring. This format helped the series to maintain some stable ratings and that is not something that Fox can turn its nose up.
As for whether or not we can see the show lasting many more years beyond where it is right now, it’s certainly possible — yet, the big question with this show is precisely what happens in the event that the girl group becomes international superstars. If you get them all to the point where they have everything in the world, will there still be an opportunity to see some outstanding drama? It’s an interesting situation and struggle that the show got itself in, and it’s certainly one that has parallels in another show in Silicon Valley that is about a group of people making their way to the top.
