The Voice season 14 finale: Did Brynn Cartelli, Kyla Jade, or Britton Buchanan win
When it comes to Brynn, Kyla, and Britton, we really did feel going into the end result that it was too close to call. It’s rare that we can say that without sounding like a total cliché, but in this case it’s actually accurate. We ultimately think this vote came down to what voters were hoping to get from this season — long-term potential, the strongest singing voice now, or who may be the most electric performer of the group.
Overall, we would say that The Voice season 14 delivered for a number of different reasons, but the biggest one was providing an actual source of drama. There have been a lot of seasons as of late where it’s felt like the winner was almost ordained from the start. It’s rather refreshing to actually have a season in turn where there is some legitimate drama and it’s fairly hard to know one way or another who is going to end up winning.
The results
It was Spensha in fourth, and in a somewhat-surprising finish Kyla in third. This meant that it was down to Brynn versus Britton for the title. The winner is … Brynn! She becomes the youngest winner in The Voice history and also could go on to have one of the best careers. Granted, much of that depends on how she is marketed and also the influence that the label has on her. Let’s hope that they point her in the right direction.
