NCIS season 15 finale sneak peek: Who’s setting up Jack Sloane?

Maria Bello

We know that the NCIS season 15 finale is going to be a tough one for Jack Sloane because of her traumatic past. Yet, there are going to be some moments of levity sprinkled in here, as well. The latest example of that comes via the sneak peek below.

In this preview, you can see Bishop doing what she can in order to set Sloane up with someone, thinking as thought she knew someone who would be a good match for her. There are of course concerns that comes with doing this for a co-worker, with one of the biggest ones being simply that you can do this and, in turn, potentially risk whatever sort of positive relationship you have going with them. Take, for example, Bishop’s suggestion blows up in her face and Sloane doesn’t really want to spend time with her on the job anymore. We don’t think that Jack is the sort of character who would act like this, but this is also a risk that you do take anytime that you choose to make a move like this.

Ultimately, this sneak peek ends (as many do) with Gibbs coming in and interrupting whatever sort of plans were being made in regards to Sloane. We do still think that there is an active ‘shipping community out there for Gibbs and Sloane and that could be where things eventually head for the two of them … but we’re not there just yet. It may take a little bit of time before we end up getting a chance to see that, but the one thing we do find especially fascinating right now is the title for the episode in “Date with Destiny.” How curious is everyone else in regards to what that really means? It could be about Sloane’s mission and a larger sense of purpose, but we also do think it could be a little more lighthearted than that when the final dust settles.
