Elementary season 6 episode 5 preview: Holmes and a severed head

Elementary season 6 episode 5

When Elementary season 6 episode 5 airs on CBS in one week’s time, it is going to do so with an episode entitled “Bits and Pieces” that seems to be about one thing more so than anything else — seeing if Sherlock Holmes can figure out a way to remember some lost time. This is far from your ordinary episode of the show. There’s a fun element to this case since it adopts a very different format, but as it goes along Holmes may struggle more with why he is missing so much time.

Below, the Elementary season 6 episode 5 synopsis offers up some additional information as to what is coming up next:

“Bits and Pieces” – Holmes and Watson retrace Holmes’ steps after he finds himself in possession of a severed head and no memory of the past six hours or why he has it, on ELEMENTARY, Monday, May 28 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We have to think that the case is interesting on so many different levels, especially when you get to the part of it where you’re wondering why in the world Holmes has a severed head in the first place. That’s not exactly the sort of thing that is common in most murder investigations! Then again, how many different cases on Elementary are really of the ordinary variety?

As for whether or not we see the Michael storyline addressed in this episode, it would be nice to get a few mentions of it, if nothing else. After all, this is a plot thread that is meant to last the entire season and it’s beneficial to get updates along the way. The more that we learn about him now, the more we can understand him and some of his actions later.
