Into the Badlands season 3 episode 6 return date for Daniel Wu, cast
Unfortunately, we should go ahead and get the bad news out of the way here in that there is no new episode of the AMC series coming on the air next week. As for the biggest reason for that, it’s ultimately quite simple: Memorial Day Weekend! The network is not altogether interested in unleashing new episodes at a time in which there could be fewer people around to potentially watch them and we do understand that. After all, who wants to deal with the idea of not having a whole lot of viewers around to check out your show? That’s a rather sad thing to think about.
For Into the Badlands, the series is still definitely in a position where they need just about every viewer that they can possibly get. While this past episode was able to overcome a recent low-rated outing, it is still down substantially year-to-year, when the series was airing following The Walking Dead for a big chunk of the season. While we are sure that AMC as a network doesn’t have the same sort of expectations for this season that they had for some others in the past, there is probably still a desire to see it perform with some fairly-healthy ratings. We want that season 4 renewal, and it would obviously be nice to have it come down at some point before the show embarks on a midseason hiatus.
