Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 6 premiere date hopes on NBC
Following tonight’s finale on Fox, when will Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 6 premiere on NBC? We come bearing at least some early speculation on that subject!
The bad news at the moment is fairly clear: The series is not on the official NBC fall schedule, and with that in mind you have to be prepared for wait a good while in order to see it. The good news, however, is simply the fact that you are going to get a chance to see the show again! Brooklyn Nine-Nine was canceled by Fox only to be revived by NBC a matter of days later, and it is a move that makes a whole lot of sense. The show was already produced internally by NBC and now, it has a chance to air for a little while longer on a network that should give it plenty of support.
For now, though, the Andy Samberg series is getting a 13-episode sixth season that will likely premiere at midseason. If we had to guess, it could fill the void left by The Good Place when it comes to a close. After all, it tends to operate on a shortened season and there is always room for something on the other side. We feel like it will get more support on NBC than it ever did at Fox, and there is certainly a chance that it could have a life beyond the sixth season if the ratings are good enough. With that in mind, we suggest simply that you keep watching the show if you enjoy it and be sure to watch LIVE. We hope that the cancellation scare starts to mobilize viewers like never before in order to ensure that the series is never in this position again.
Unfortunately, we do not expect to see a Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 6 premiere date announcement until we get around to the fall; we will let you know as soon as something further is announced. The latest we foresee it starting is March.
