The stakes of the NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 finale

NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 finale

The NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 finale is set to premiere on CBS in a matter of days, and based on the information we have, this one’s going to be intense right from the get-go. Sometimes, episodes take a whole to get going, and this one is going to have you sweating and fearing for some characters’ safety almost from the get-go.

To get a little bit more insight on that subject, just take a look at what executive producer R. Scott Gemmill had to say on the subject to TVInsider:

“Callen [Chris O’Donnell] made a pledge to Mosley to find her son. He’s a man of his word — even if it kills him … They’re a fractured team heading to Mexico, and it takes a deadly turn early. Finding Mosley’s son and getting him back to his mother are two very different things.”

As for who is in the most danger of all entering the NCIS: Los Angeles finale, the top contender at the moment is Sam given that the official CBS press releases for this episode have already suggested that the character will be shot. What is it with finales for this show putting the entire Hanna family in danger? If you recall, the eighth season finale revolved in part around the death of Michelle, a devastating loss that still seems to be sticking with Sam to this day. We are still waiting for there to be complete closure to what happened here, and we have a feeling that this is something that could be coming over the course of Sunday’s two-hour event.

Be sure to remember that the finale officially begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time — you don’t want to miss the first hour! It will be followed after that by the official finale for another CBS show in Madam Secretary.
