Another Poldark season 4 premiere date hint
There is a listing now on the official BBC website for a screening of the upcoming premiere episode on Tuesday, June 5 in Cornwall — an exciting event for those of you who want to see the show in the same place in which it is set. Information about the screening and how to attend is provided there, if you are in the neighborhood and have an interest in checking things out.
How this matters for Poldark fans across the UK is rather simple, as this is further proof that the series is not going to start airing before this time. Given Aidan Turner’s upcoming June 1 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, we hoped that this was a sign that a premiere was coming on June 3. Now, we’re feeling at least reasonably hopeful that many viewers are going to get a chance in order to check out the fourth season starting on June 10.
Unfortunately, for Poldark fans in America this is not going to matter all that much one way or another, given that new episodes will likely not start airing until a little later in the fall. We are hoping for some emotional moments and great stories ahead for Ross, Demelza, and some other characters as time moves forward and they are confronted with more political and personal crises. given that a fifth season has already been commissioned for the series, you can at least watch with a feeling of confidence that there is going to be even more of Poldark coming on the other side of the season 4 finale. (Just expect another long hiatus — we anticipate season 5 filming starting in the late summer / early fall.)
