Siren episode 10 (finale) spoilers: The siren song’s side effects

Siren - Freeform

Moving into Siren episode 10 next week on Freeform, one thing feels pretty clear: Ben could be in danger as a result of the siren song. The promo below offers up a pretty clear look at just how dangerous said song can be, and also how it can be different for different people. A big part of what makes this show so fascinating is the flexibility that comes with some of the mythology and the sort of mystery that the writers are still throwing in here. Even at this point there are still some more questions regarding what it means to be a mermaid and the aftereffects that come with interacting with humans.

Judging from the promo, though, it almost feels better to assume that Ben’s life could be on the line. Otherwise, there is a pretty good chance that you could end up being blindsided at some point during the story.

Want a little more news now? Then we suggest that you check out the official Siren episode 10 synopsis right now:

In the season finale, the enchanting siren song takes hold of Ben and Decker. Meanwhile, Dale must answer for the escalating crime in Bristol Cove.

When it comes to whether or not there will be a cliffhanger at the end of the finale, we do know that Siren is the sort of show where this sort of thing could easily be possible. As a matter of fact, it’s likely. Even though Siren may not have been renewed for a second season at the time in which the finale was written, there may have been still some sort of assumption that it would be. With that in mind, we wouldn’t blame the writers for going for it. (Given that Siren has now been renewed, there’s nothing to worry about.)
