Station 19 season 2 premiere date hopes: When could series return?
For starters, let’s kick things off here with a reminder that there is, in fact, going to be a season 2 of Station 19. That was officially ordered by ABC a little bit earlier this month, not that this is much of a surprise. This show had a good bit of promotion from the start and, to go along with that, it also has the Grey’s Anatomy brand. This goes a long way, especially when you consider that there has been a great discussion already about some further crossovers that could be coming over the course of what lies ahead.
In looking beyond this season we could easily foresee Station 19 being the sort of show that ends up sticking around for a rather longer time — so long as it can maintain some of the ratings that it had for season 1, there’s not going to be any reason for ABC to cancel it. We also think that the ratings could improve thanks to viewers finding the show and binge-watching over the course of the next few months.
As of right now, our assumption is that the Station 19 season 2 premiere date is going to be airing at some point in either late September or early October — whenever it does, it will be in the same 9:00 p.m. Eastern timeslot that it aired over the course of the spring. Hopefully, we’re going to get many more episodes of the show next year — the dream would be to get about as many as possible, somewhere between the 22-24 range.
