Grey’s Anatomy season 15 – Station 19 season 2 crossover possible
Just think about things in this way: Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 did a few minor stories with each other over the course of the past year. Yet, at the same time they weren’t able to do too much. We imagine that some of that had to do with scheduling, given that Station 19 premiered late in the season and it may have been hard to plan things out beyond a few stories with Bailey and Ben. Yet, with Station 19 premiering in the fall alongside Grey’s Anatomy (check out the full schedule over at the link here) there is a little better chance to do something like this. You can tell larger stories that involve both shows, which will certainly prove to be a ratings boost to Station 19. To go along with that, we do also think that it could enrich Grey’s Anatomy to throw some of these characters into a new, exciting situation.
What we also know now via ABC is that there’s an interest on a network level in having more crossovers happening. Speaking via Deadline, check out what programming head Channing Dungey had to say on the subject:
“We are looking at more dynamic interplay between the 8 and 9 o’clock hours.”
As we move further into the summer it’s possible that we could get a little more hints as to what this could look like. We personally think that doing a crossover is something that will increase in intrigue/interest as time goes along and we’re probably not going to see it until November sweeps.
