In typical AMC fashion, you cannot be shocked that this is all they are giving away in advance. This episode will likely have some action, but go ahead and be prepared for some more pensive, thoughtful moments to go along with it.
The state of the series’ ratings
The numbers are in for Into the Badlands last week and we can’t exactly say that they make us altogether thrilled when it comes to the overall future. After all, this past installment drew a 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and that’s one of the lowest performances that we’ve seen from the series to date. As a matter of fact, it is the lowest number we’ve seen from the series to date. We anticipated that some of the love+same-day numbers would be down a little bit just because of the fact that it doesn’t have The Walking Dead as a lead-in for part of the season this time, we do want the show to keep at least some consistency.
Hopefully, we are going to see Into the Badlands level off now and showcase a little bit of consistency. After all, if that doesn’t happen we could be looking at a situation now in which the series ends up getting in serious danger.
