Lucifer season 3 finale sneak peek: Avenging Charlotte Richards

Lucifer season 3 finale

While we know that there is a great deal to discuss here in terms of the #SaveLucifer campaign, we also don’t want to lose sight of the fact that the Lucifer season 3 finale is airing on Fox come Monday night.

In this episode, you are going to see Lucifer, Chloe, and the rest of the team do their part in order to solve one of the most personal murders that any of them has ever seen to date: The murder of Charlotte Richards. Unfortunately, in the process of this they also have to contend with the fact that the man running this entire investigation in Marcus Pierce is the lead suspect in what happened.

In the sneak peek below (via TVLine), you can see that it doesn’t exactly take a whole lot of time in order for Chloe to put together that Marcus is likely behind the murder. She can tell that he’s getting more emotional than he usually does and there’s something off about his whole situation. The goal for this entire episode, with this in mind, becomes trying to find a way to pin the murder on Marcus when he is also the person in charge. We imagine that this whole situation is increased in drama tenfold largely because, as Lucifer knows, he is Cain. He knows that Marcus has been around the block for so long that he’s become very much adept at being able to avoid any and all detection of possible wrongdoing.

What we know about this finale is pretty much this: There’s going to be a huge cliffhanger at the end of it, which stinks mostly because Fox decided to end the show that way. As we’ve noted in the past, the best thing that every Lucifer fan can do is watch the finale live and try to get something trending during it. Even if you are bitter at Fox over the decision to cancel the show, boosting the ratings is a way to make it more attractive to other potential suitors.
