Code Black season 3 episode 4 preview: Ethan gets sued

What’s coming up on Code Black season 3 episode 4? We’ll get to that in a moment, but it feels like there is something else that should be touched on first. At the time of this writing, we feel like we should start things off before anything else before stating this: Technically, Code Black is still on the bubble. It could come back for another season! With that in mind, we would suggest to you that if you want to see this series come back for another batch of episodes, the best thing that you can is watch live. This is the way to influence CBS the best and show that some of the passion is there in spades.

Now, let’s get into the story for this episode given that it is one of the biggest reminders so far this season as to what this show is all about. If you think back to the early days of Code Black, what was really hyped up in a number of different promos by the network is the state of mass chaos that was present around Angels Memorial. While the doctors were good at their jobs, there were just too many patients and too few doctors and nurses to look after everyone. This is something that we do imagine being a central theme for this upcoming episode, but it will be in somewhat of a different way as Willis and Rox find themselves in a place out in the field where they are completely surrounded left and right by various injuries.

Below, the Code Black season 3 episode 4 synopsis offers up a little bit more insight as to what’s coming up next:

Willis and Rox arrive at a road rage accident resulting in multiple serious injuries. Also, Elliot doubts his ability as a doctor when he’s sued for his role in the death of the SWAT officer involved in the drug bust-turned-shootout, and Leanne discovers Ariel on an ice cream “date” with Max (Alex Lange), a young patient at the hospital.

What we think is coming over the course of this episode is going to be difficult at times, which is probably why the Ariel storyline is going to be important. While Leanne’s going to need to have a few good conversations with Ariel after the fact, there should be some lightheartedness here.
