Supergirl season 3 episode 20 spoilers: Is Krypton actually gone?

Supergirl season 3 episode 20

One of things that is going to be interesting about Supergirl season 3 episode 20 (which is airing on Monday, May 28) is simply this: It will mark an opportunity for Kara to actually learn something about her home world of Krypton. She’s long presumed that this planet is gone and with that, the same goes for most of her friends and loved ones.

Yet, is that actually the case? This upcoming episode (entitled “Dark Side of the Moon”) will face that head-on as we start to wonder whether or not this could be a key to helping Supergirl in her battle against Reign. For a little more insight on this subject, be sure to check out the official Supergirl season 3 episode 20 synopsis that CarterMatt has for  you below.

SUPERGIRL LEARNS A STUNNING SECRET ABOUT KRYPTON – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is stunned to discover that a part of Krypton survived. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) is attacked while out with Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay), and Lena (Katie McGrath) considers how far she will go to keep Reign contained. Hanelle Culpepper directed the episode written by Derek Simon & Katie Rose Rogers (#320). Original airdate 5/28/2018.

Now that we know that Lena has uncovered a way to create her own Kryptonite, that pretty clearly raises the stakes for the entire show as a whole. It could make Lena into a valuable commodity in the quest to ensure that Reign never hurts anyone again, but it may also make her into a dangerous person. As of right now, James is the only person who has this level of knowledge about what she is doing and he is left with a choice: Either share some of this information and in turn hurt his relationship with Lena, or keep it to himself even though this certainly seems like the sort of information that really should be shared with pretty much everyone at the DEO.
