SWAT episode 22 (finale) spoilers: Hondo’s most-trying case yet

SWAT episode 22

What’s coming up on SWAT episode 22? Well, let’s just say that this is going to be one of the biggest episodes of the series to date. A big part of the reason for that stems mostly from the fact that it is the final episode of the season. It’s going to be big and, suffice it to say, explosive.

Below, the SWAT episode 22 synopsis offers up some more insight right now when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Hoax” – A fake 911 call puts Hondo and the SWAT team on the hunt to stop a terrorist group from executing bombing attacks on local communities. Also, Street’s relationship with his recently paroled mother, Karen (Sherilyn Fenn), jeopardizes his career, and Jessica is thrown a curveball by her colleague, Michael Plank (Peter Facinelli), president of the police commission, on the first season finale of S.W.A.T., Thursday, May 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Obba Babatundé returns as Hondo’s father, Daniel Harrelson, Sr.

Let’s get now to the promo below, mostly because it shows the escalation of tension that is happening around Hondo in the finale. Not only are lives on the line, but the same goes for a career and it is very well possible that a major secret could end up getting somebody killed. Just consider that to be one of the many major things that could unravel over the course of this episode. We wouldn’t be shocked if there is a big cliffhanger, just because that is the sort of thing that is the bread and butter for a series like this. SWAT has a season 2 renewal and has for a little while, so you can at least rest assured that nobody what happens, the show itself will be back for more.
