Timeless season 2 episode 9 preview: Harriet Tubman will help the team in their mission
In the sneak peek that CarterMatt has for you below the team will be heading back to the Civil War and will partner with Harriet Tubman in order to find the confederate sleeper agent. In the beginning, we see Ms. Tubman caring for the wounded and the sick. She cares about each of them and it’s clear that she knows how to treat them. Lucy and Flynn are discussing a raid that is going to take place and it appears that if Ms. Tubman partakes in it, she will die sooner than history dictates. Just then a young man arrives to inform Lucy and the gang that he knows where the confederate army is, also meaning she knows where the sleeper agent is. Ms. Tubman wants to free the slaves that are with the confederate army, but Wyatt says that are unarmed and it could be fatal for her and the rest of her followers. However, Ms. Tubman is insistent. Knowing that she will not give in, Lucy convinces her that Wyatt, Flynn and Rufus support her cause and are with her, but she explains that finding the confederate solider needs to be a top priority. If they do not find him, then the Union will lose the war. Ms. Tubman sees the seriousness in Lucy’s face and agrees to help them, but says she will free those slaves after.
This episode is part one of the two-hour finale so it’s going to be interesting to see what occurs. TVLine released some spoiler photos about the two-hour finale and it looks like it is going to be explosive. The pictures indicate the Emma, Lucy’s mom, and Jessica will present, which confirms our theory that Rittenhouse brought her back for their benefit. From the sneak peek, it appears that Rittenhouse is changing the outcome of the war, but how? In other words, in what way specifically?
Either way it’s going to be a great episode and Sunday can not come fast enough. For more news related to Timeless, be sure to join our official CarterMatt Facebook page to stay up to date with all of our scoop and chat with other fans of the show.
