The Flash season 4 episode 21 sneak peek: Amunet visits STAR Labs
The sneak peek below is a chance to get at least a pretty good sense as to what lies ahead for some of the team members, as they are all teaming up with Amunet in an attempt to use her to stop DeVoe. She is immune from many of his powers and with that, could prove very valuable in their quest to stop him. Unfortunately, the problem here is mostly that Amunet is almost impossible control. She’s a psychopath who often goes by the beat of her own drum. If there is one reason why she could want to go along with Team Flash’s plan, it is mostly because of DeVoe’s goal with the enlightenment. If he really wants to dumb down most of the world and take technology away from them, that’s rather bad for her business. While we don’t think that she is a character who will ever be counted on as one of the good guys, she has an incentive to fight along with the team for now.
Fingers crossed that this is one of the few plans from Team Flash that actually works, mostly because of the fact that there are many others that have blown up spectacularly in the past. That’s been the big recurring theme for most of the season — no matter how hard Team Flash tries, DeVoe always seems to have the leg up. Hopefully, the departure of Marlize is the first move in a process that will lead to the entire tide turning.
