NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 22 video: Pride meets protests

NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 22

Coming up on Tuesday night’s NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 22, Dwayne Pride is going to be in a position that he hasn’t quite been in to date. He’s used to finding criminals and working to stop them by any means necessary. However, he now has a new obstacle in the form of the public.

As the sneak peek below reveals, this is more than just an issue of them not trusting him. Instead, it’s an issue of them wanting him gone for good. After a scathing article was posted detailing the “reckless” way he goes about solving crimes, the public has turned against him. There are protests outside of his office and, to make matters worse, someone even throws a brick at him.

Given the state of things, Scott Bakula’s character is surprisingly calm. He doesn’t seem altogether angry that some of these people are inhibiting his ability to properly do his job. Instead, he wants to focus on the murder investigation that he is working on and not really put too much emphasis on anything else. His feeling here is that he didn’t do anything wrong and therefore, doesn’t want to pour much of his energy into dealing with some of these protests. He feels instead like he is really better suited to just take on whatever crime is in front of him and not worry about anything else.

It can’t be ignored, though, just how devastating this could eventually be for Pride’s career. If he develops a reputation as a public nuisance and then maintains it, it’s going to be incredibly difficult for him to be able to ever really get away from this. He could struggle with this for a while and that is something that he ultimately has to prepare for. It could mean the end of his time in New Orleans or even all of law enforcement if things don’t go his way.
