Big Brother Canada 6 gives you awards, Paras’ nominations
What did we have tonight? Here are a few notes of note:
The Head of Household Competition – Paras won, and that’s pretty exciting just because of the fact that it is a challenge winner not named Derek or Kaela. Yet, at the end of the day it’s clear that the HoH doesn’t quite matter beyond immunity. This is one of those occasions where it is really more about the Power of Veto winner more so than anything else this week.
The Big Brother Canada awards – This is a ceremony that happens every year, but this time around, this was one of the flatter ceremonies. One of the biggest problems to us about this season is that we lost some of the bigger personalities earlier and the competitors like Erica were cut earlier than they should have been. Most of the winners weren’t altogether shocking … but it was strange to have a category for retching in the first place. (Still, kudos to the voters for nominating Paras’ impression of Olivia as one of the best moments of the entire season.)
The official nominations – It’s now said and done now and in the end, we’ve now got the twosome of Kaela and Derek on the block. The funniest part of this was mostly the editors trying to act as though there was any drama really with this decision at all. Of course Paras was going to nominate who she did!
The final four eviction will happen later this week leading up to the finale. (Live feeds SPOILER alert.) Kaela is the Veto winner, which likely means that Will is on the go.
