Lucifer season 3 episode 24 (finale) spoilers: Aftermath of the big death

Lucifer season 3 episode 24 is airing on Fox in one week’s time and it goes without saying that this is going to be a big one. After all, this marks the final episode, and also a chance to see things unravel after the big death that happened on the show tonight.

(Warning: There are some spoilers ahead from tonight’s episode!)

Moving into the finale, the biggest objective seems clear for Lucifer and Chloe: Trying to piece together the aftermath of what happened to Charlotte Richards. She was killed off by Marcus Pierce near the end of tonight’s episode and now, it’s pretty clear that Deckerstar and company have their work cut out for them trying to figure out what to do from here. The Lucifer season 3 episode 24 synopsis offers up some more news regarding what is coming up next:

Shocked by someone’s death, Chloe, Lucifer and the rest of the team work together to investigate and take down the killer. Then, Lucifer has an epiphany, Maze decides to mend a broken friendship and Chloe finally sees the truth in the all-new “A Devil of My Word” season finale episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, May 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

It’s nice to be able to analyze this synopsis with some more context as to what actually happened tonight. For starters, it seems like Maze is going to try and repair things after deciding previously that she was ready to go to hell at all costs. Meanwhile, for Chloe she may be closer to really understanding more of what Lucifer has told her. While he may have said that he is the devil, he didn’t exactly give a whole lot of details on the subject. (To be fair, she also didn’t ask for more in the way of information, either.) It’s possible that there will be a cliffhanger at the end of all of this, but this could be a rather challenging thing to stomach given the fact that there is no Lucifer season 4 renewal at present.
