Into the Badlands season 3 episode 4 preview: Sunny’s new foe

What lies ahead on Into the Badlands season 3 episode 4? Let’s just say that we are gearing up for an episode that, at its core, is going to revolve around new opponents. Life never gets easier for Sunny, does it? Right when things start to settle down another opponent rises to the forefront and with that, there is suddenly all sorts of trouble that he is forced to encounter.

Sunny and Bajie face off against a deadly new foe with a dark connection to Sunny’s past; Chau enlists her brother in the fight against Pilgrim.

We’re still pretty early on in this season, so no matter what we see we’re likely to have things build up in intensity for many weeks to come still.

How are the season 3 ratings right now?

We know that it was a bummer to see that the premiere posted only a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and just around 1.35 million viewers. However, remember this: Into the Badlands saw its ratings inflated heavily at the start of season 2 by airing after The Walking Dead.

What’s important here is that the ratings for the martial-arts series stayed fairly consistent in week two, where it posted a 0.4 rating and around 1.27 million viewers. Also, these numbers aren’t too far off where the ratings were for the second season around the end of it. Hopefully, this is what AMC was expecting since that could get us a little bit closer to seeing a season 4 down the road. It’s a little too early to tell for sure on this right now.
