Madam Secretary season 4 episode 21 preview: The threat of a flood

Madam Secretary season 4 episode 21

What is coming up on Madam Secretary season 4 episode 21? The title for this episode is “Protocol” and as it turns out, this one is going to put Elizabeth McCord through her paces. She has to try to figure out how to help effectively millions of people, and in order to do so, it is going to involve having to negotiate with a country that is right in the middle of a chaotic situation.

We’ve certainly see McCord face many different situations that are ripe with chaos and drama before, but we’re not quite sure we’ve seen one quite like this and with so many obvious roadblocks. For more, check out the Madam Secretary season 4 episode 21 synopsis below:

“Protocol” – When terrorists threaten to cause a flood in the Middle East that could kill millions of people, Elizabeth’s hopes of getting a neighboring country to close the dam fade after the government suddenly goes dark during a coup. Also, Stevie is tasked with finding Russell an activity that will help manage his stress, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, May 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We should go ahead and also say this at the moment when it comes to the Stevie storyline: She’s got her work cut out for her trying to figure out how to get Russell to react. With that said, we know that he needs it — we’ve already seen what happens to him when he doesn’t. Unfortunately, the big problem here is that he doesn’t have an easy job and, to go along with that, we haven’t seen enough tangible evidence as of yet that he is really quite committed to making sure that his health is stable moving into the future.

Following the end of the episode, there’s only one more story coming up: The finale. This is where thematically, everything is going to come to a head.
