NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 22: Anna’s future on the line

Next week, NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 22 is going to put the focus on a story that unfolded a little earlier this season: Anna shooting Sokolov out of nothing other than a desire for revenge. He was unarmed and didn’t have to do that; with that in mind, be prepared to see the character now fighting in order to preserve her career. Shooting people is the sort of offense, after all, that can lead to some serious trouble. She’s going to need some help from some others close to her, most notably Callen. It seems as though his testimony could be essential in helping to determine one way or another if she can keep her job.

Don’t you imagine that the results of this case could impact not just the future of Anna’s job, but also the future of her relationship with Callen? That’s something that this episode could determine as a whole.

Below, the NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 22 synopsis offers up some other insight when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Venganza” – NCIS investigates the murder of a federal prison inmate who was the adopted daughter of a notorious counterfeiter. Also, Callen is summoned by the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Internal Affairs board to discuss Anna Kolcheck’s (Bar Paly) actions during a joint NCIS and ATF case, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, May 13 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There is a pretty clear reason why we are focusing so heavily on the Anna part of the case — there’s not too much that we can say about the case of the week based on some of the limited information that we have. The biggest thing that we can really hope for with this episode is that there are a few more surprises with the case and a strong foundation that is set for the two-hour finale. The final two episodes airing on May 20 are going to be linked and, beyond that, they are going to be epic. What we know at present is that Mosley’s family is going to be very much involved in what is coming up next.
