Lucifer notes: ‘Quintessential Deckerstar,’ fun teases, fan campaigns

Deckerstar

There is a lot to look forward to coming up on Lucifer Monday night — after all, we may be talking about the biggest episode of the entire series! “Quintessential Deckerstar” is the name for the hour and judging from some of the information out there, this could change the entire series as we know it.

Want a little more evidence of that? Then just look at what we’ve got below courtesy of social media! We think that the messages from Chris Rafferty and Rachael Harris really speak for themselves when it comes to sharing just how important Monday night’s new episode is. This could be a chance to see Lucifer finally try and lay everything on the table in terms of his feelings for Chloe — though things may not end up as he planned. It’s possible that another interruption could come up, or there is going to be some other sort of unwelcome drama. With all of the talk about a potential character death at the end of this season, we are nervous — VERY nervous.

We’re also certainly nervous for an entirely different reason, given that at the moment, there is still no formal word one way or another as to whether or not Lucifer is going to find itself renewed for a season 4. We still want to remain hopeful, but at present there’s nothing altogether confirmed on the subject. If there is some good news, it is that Lucifer won the Cancellation Countdown Poll over at TVLine, beating out some other shows at the moment including Timeless and Brooklyn Nine-Nine that absolutely have some loyal followings of their own.

Is this a surefire sign that a season 4 of Lucifer is going to be happening? Hardly, but it is a nice reminder that the enthusiasm among some fans to see it is very much there. That’s something that we hope carries through the next couple of weeks and ends up boosting the live viewership for the final two episodes. This is the best opportunity for fans to prove they want the show back — it has to help Fox’s bottom line more so than anything else. Watching and tweeting live (be sure to use #RenewLucifer) is going to be one of the best things that you can do.
