Agents of SHIELD season 5 epsiode 21: ‘The Destroyer of Worlds’
For starters, just think about the title here in “The Destroyer of Worlds.” Is it even possible to name an episode of the show something that is more ominous than this? We’re really not sure that there is. Given everything that is going on right now, though, in between this series and Avengers: Infinity War (which certainly is going to have a role), it’s pretty darn clear that this episode is going to be important. After all, it has to be.
Alas, ABC isn’t giving too much away about Agents of SHIELD season 5 episode 21 other than sharing the following synopsis: “Daisy’s future as the destroyer of worlds could take a critical change.” That’s not much in the way of info, is it?
We’re just hoping that there are going to be some more insight coming up about the future of the series, given that the last thing we want is going into the final stretch of the season without knowing for sure if the series is going to come back. The good news is that ABC and Marvel have the sort of relationship where it synergy may help to ensure that the series sticks around. The bad news, however, is that the ratings are not altogether good and the season finale is “The End.” Clearly, the show’s producers knew that there was a chance that it could be coming to a close.
