Blue Bloods season 8 finale: The big Will Estes – Vanessa Ray hour

Blue Bloods season 8

Are you ready for the Blue Bloods season 8 finale to be here on CBS? We know that we are, especially since this could be one of the biggest installments to date for Will Estes and Vanessa Ray.

Over the past few years, these two actors have played their characters of Jamie Reagan and Eddie Janko as one of the biggest will-they-or-won’t-they couples on television. They kissed back in season 7, but since that time there hasn’t been too much when it comes to forward movement. Jamie has talked with other people about his feelings, but we still haven’t gotten to the point where he has sat Eddie down and explained to her some of what is going on in his head. Could this finale serve as a prime opportunity to do that? Maybe, but nothing at the moment is altogether certain — we just know that over the course of this hour, Jamie and Eddie are going to be in a dangerous position. It’s the sort of position that makes you want to bare your soul because you are not altogether certain that you are going to be around in order to do it the next day.

Even if Jamko don’t end up getting in a relationship in the finale, we’re nearing the point where the rubber meets the road for these two. They need to put their cards on the table and realize that the feelings that the two of them have are not feelings that they can just bury away any longer.

Below, the Blue Bloods season 8 finale synopsis offers up a little more insight as to what is coming for the other characters:

“My Aim is True” – When a series of drive-by murders occur after six wrongly convicted men are released from prison, Danny and Baez wonder if they were orchestrated by the men as an act of revenge. Also, Frank combats the guilt he feels about these innocent men unfairly serving nine years in prison, and Jamie and Eddie find themselves in a life-threatening situation, on the eighth season finale of BLUE BLOODS, Friday, May 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We are not necessarily guaranteeing a cliffhanger for this episode for one simple reason: That’s something that we only get occasionally with Blue Bloods. They’re looking to tell a good story rather than just give you a great OMG moment.
