Who died on Empire season 4 episode 15?
To be specific, we’re speaking here about Xzibit and his character of Shyne, who was killed by some of Lucious’ men after a heated showdown. This was a death that was shocking mostly just because of the longtime relationship between these two — they worked together and there were plenty of questions as to loyalty. The moment that word got back to Lucious about some of Shyne’s duplicity, it was pretty clear as to where this story was ultimately going.
Empire is, in the end, a story about music and a story about some of the crazy highs and lows that can come about in this industry. With all of that said, though, it is also a story where characters can die. They’re mixed up in some really tricky situations and one of the biggest things to remember here is that money can be a powerful influence. So many people on this show are hungry for money and power and with that often comes consequences.

While tonight’s new episode of the series proved itself to be dramatic and rather sad in the end, the show must go on and it will. There are three more episodes to go this seaosn and beyond that, there is going to be a fifth season of the show coming up in the future. We’re excited to see whatever the future holds, while spontaneously worried for a lot of different characters at the same time. We’d be incredibly naïve to assume that this is going to mark the end of the road insofar as character deaths go.
