Elementary season 6 episode 2 preview: Watson’s father takes center stage

Elementary season 6 episode 2, at least per some early bits of news that are coming out today, seems as though it is going to be an especially-emotional episode when it comes to Lucy Liu and her character of Joan Watson. She and her half-sister Lin are going to reunite because of the death of their biological father, someone who neither one of them had the best relationship with. However, death has a tendency to draw some various reactions out of people, and it may cause certain people to feel a wide array of different things. Expect this episode to be a fascinating, powerful story anchored by a great performance from Liu.

Of course, to go along with all of this we’re going to see another interesting case — and a dangerous one, to boot, given the fact that stolen plutonium is at the center of it. There’s a little more of a race-against-time element with this case, just because there is only so much time to track down the culprits before something terrible ends up happening.

“Once You’ve Ruled Out God” –Watson and her half sister, Lin (Samantha Quan), have conflicting reactions when their estranged biological father dies. Also, Holmes and Watson find themselves on the hunt for a stolen plutonium shipment they fear will be used to make a dirty bomb after a department of energy inspector is killed with a lightning gun, on ELEMENTARY, Monday, May 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
