Big Brother Canada 6 live feed spoilers: Final five Veto Ceremony results

The final five Veto Ceremony took place in the Big Brother Canada 6 house this morning and in the end, the results were almost exactly what you would have predicted them to be.

Despite all of the attempts over the past day or so and appeals to Kaela to nominate Derek, the majority of them fell on deaf ears. Kaela knew that there was no rational reason to keep one of three people who almost certainly wouldn’t take her to the end over someone in Derek who could. He’s made all sorts of proclamations to her that she will and she in turn to him — they may not do it (Kaela’s talked at length about booting Derek at the final three), but there’s at least a better chance there than the alternative. They at least know with each other that they’re likely to keep one another at final four if one of them ends up being the sole deciding vote.

What this means now is both Paras and Maddy can campaign for their lives while Derek and Kaela finalize whatever decision they want to make. (Kaela owns the tiebreaker as Head of Household.) As of right now the target appears to be Maddy, but there’s still some time for that to change depending on how things go. The thing that’s really working for Paras right now is that she’s struggled so much in many competitions that she comes across as a little more beatable — though we don’t exactly think that either member of the showmance is altogether worried about losing a competition. Nobody in the trio of Paras, Maddy, and Will has done anything in competitions all season.

Personally, we picked Paras to win so our ego-driven preference is that she stays — she has made a few moves this season strategically but at this point, her only chance to win is if she’s at the end with Will and given his background as a blue-collar guy and single dad, that could prove tough for her. (We do think she’ll deliver a better jury performance by far, so she’s got that going for her.)
