Chicago PD season 5 episode 21 video: Will Olinsky’s arrest change Voight’s mind?
As the preview below for this episode shows you, Olinsky is going to find himself both arrested and behind bars at some point during this episode — which, as you would imagine, is going to carry with it some big ramifications. For starters, there is certainly reason to worry about Al behind bars — he’s a cop and if other people in prison no that, it could be a problem for him.
Beyond that, Olinsky going behind bars could presumably be all of the leverage Denny Woods needs in order to ensure he gets what he wants from Voight: A confession. He wants Voight to admit to what happened with Bingham or he’s going to take out just about everyone he cares about in the process. This is going to be a powerful, trying episode as Voight has to figure out what to do in this situation — one thing that is great about this, though, is that there’s another layer of escalation here. It’s been a fantastic slow build from the very start of this season to where we are now. we knew that eventually, what happened with Voight’s revenge would come back to haunt him. This is a guy who has done terrible things and the question now is simple: Can he change? Also, there’s another component to this: Will he even get a chance to? There are only two episodes left and with that in mind, that’s not a whole lot of time for him to figure out the answer to these questions.
