One interesting Bull season 2 finale theory: Personal revelations
Let’s kick things off with this: On Tuesday night’s new episode Bull’s ex Isabella Colon (Yara Martinez) is going to return with news that she is marrying once more! We imagine that this could be a difficult thing for him to take, mostly because it could bring him back to that time. We’ve seen that Bull has a capacity to fall in love, or at the very least trick himself into thinking that he is falling in love. We’re not entirely sure that Bull really knows the difference between the two but either way, it’s understandable if this news causes him to reminisce and wonder about some of what’s happened with him in the past.
What’s also worth pointing out here is this: During the upcoming May 8 finale Marissa “faces hard truths about her relationship with Bull.” What does that really mean? We do think that one of the biggest things may just be that the devotion that she has with him ultimately makes it harder for her to date other people — with that in mind, she could realize within this episode that she either is too devoted to the job or devoted to Bull the person. Does she have feelings for him? It’s certainly possible and if that is the case, we wonder if the finale could lean in the direction of the two characters eventually becoming more.
Do we think that Bull needs a romance between any of its main characters? Not necessarily, but we’ve remained open to the idea of a Bull/Marissa pairing over time if done correctly. As for what exactly “done correctly” means, though, it’s one of those things that we may not properly understand until we actually see it play out. We’d just say that it has to build organically and not just happen at some rapid-fire pace. With where Bull is emotionally and what Marissa could be thinking about circa the finale, this is at least something to consider as we await these episodes airing.
