NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 20 sneak peek: The rocket hunt

NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 20Sunday night’s new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles is going to take some of the characters to the Angeles Forest, and while there it’s clear that Sam, Callen, and Nell are going to have their hands full taking on a pretty enormous challenge: A faulty rocket. There are pieces of it somewhere within the forest and it’s up to the aforementioned trio to find them before they fall into the wrong hands. There is a lot of danger present here, but it’s also pretty darn clear that the team isn’t going to get a lot of help in the process.

For a little more insight on that, take a look at the sneak peek below! In that, you can see the three briefed as to what’s going on shortly upon their arrival to the place of operation — however, soon after that they soon learn that they are not getting a lot of help from the man in charge, who seems to be more interested in preserving the secrets of his operation than he does actually making sure that the product is properly found. Over the course of the remainder of this episode, we’ve got a feeling that we’re going to see all of these agents tested as they try to figure out a way to retrieve the object they so desperately need — if they can even do that without having a whole lot more insight.

This episode may not necessarily be one that pushes the larger narrative of the story this season forward, but if you do love NCIS: LA at its core (Sam and Callen working together to stop the bad guys), signs point towards there being a good bit here that you’re going to like.
