Law & Order: SVU season 19 finale title hints at reflection

The Law & Order: SVU season 19 finale is airing on NBC next month and, as you would imagine, this is going to be an emotional affair. This installment marks an opportunity to really tie together the majority of the story this season and beyond just that, it could do a good job trying to set off some of what’s coming with season 20.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is not too much in the way of information out there about the finale, but we can at least tell you the episode title: “Remember Me.” There are actually two different episodes with this title, part 1 and part 2, and these will probably allow us a chance to dive into a case in a deeper way than we have at any other point so far in season 19. It’s not that often you get two-part episodes (it’s a little more common in finales) and when it happens, you have to think in turn that it is especially important.

Will there be a cliffhanger leading into season 20? That’s something that we’re going to be waiting for a little while in order to properly figure out. We don’t necessarily think that SVU is a show that really needs to do something like this, given that its appeal comes via the stories and watching the heroes in action. Yet, it’s always good to surprise us and provide something that is a little bit different from what we’ve seen before as of late.

Hopefully, NBC will release some more information on the finale at some point over the next couple of weeks. When there is additional scoop out there, we will absolutely be sure to let you know.
