Blindspot season 3 episode 20 preview: Avery’s father and other drama

Are you ready for Blindspot season 3 episode 20? We hope so — we know that for us, there’s a lot of interesting intrigue about what the writers may have planned. For starters, the title here in “Let It Go” and that always suggests a good bit of pain — we don’t want to say that we love pain, but for a show like this it is beneficial to really dive into some raw, emotional stuff when it comes to some of the characters. Take, for example, Jane and her history with Avery / Avery’s father. The more that we get a chance to learn about this part of the story, the more valuable it could be to understanding where some of the pieces lie on the chessboard entering the finale.

Of course, the synopsis also makes it pretty clear that there’s another pretty clear (science-related) reason to be excited about this episode:

05/04/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : After receiving shocking news about Avery’s (Guest Star Kristina Reyes) father, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) must hunt down an elusive criminal. Meanwhile, Patterson’s (Ashley Johnson) father (Guest Star Bill Nye) helps the team (and his daughter) in the lab. How can you not love Bill Nye being a part of Blindspot? The legendary Science Guy was one of the last people we expected to see on the show but here we are — we do still have many questions about Nye’s role and the relationship is like with Patterson. This is certainly cool, if nothing else. Nye does have a spcial place in our heart from our childhood, though we wish that he made his recent Bill Nye Saves the World into something that resembled more his classic Bill Nye the Science Guy show.
