Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 20: Jared Gilmore returning!
The title itself (“Is This Henry Mills?”) should give you a pretty good indicator that this is going to be a huge story for this character — it’s certainly valuable given where we are in the overall narrative and just how valuable we know that the Henry character is to almost everything. He’s the ultimate through-line at this point. Everything began with Henry’s arrival at Emma Swan’s door in the pilot. Meanwhile, everything was possible in Hyperion Heights because of Lucy paying him a visit. He’s been the catalyst for so many things and we imagine that he’s going to be a major catalyst for whatever else is coming up.
Just remember this while you’re viewing this episode — on the other side of this is the first part of an epic two-hour season finale, one that is going to feature surprises and also return appearances from former cast members. It’s a little early to say for certain when certain actors are going to be around on the show and when they won’t be, but hopefully these final episodes are a celebration of the entire series. We don’t want to see the story of the first six seasons be forgotten, but we also don’t want the current story and some of these characters to be completely short-changed in the process. Everything is important as we’re waiting for the metaphorical Once Upon a Time clock to strike midnight. Let’s hope that we see a happily ever after for all who deserve one — and many do at this point.
