Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 22 video: Preparing for the Duke mystery

Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 22

As of this writing there isn’t too much information out there in regards to Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 22, but with that said we know one thing: This could be an emotional hour if you love Dennis Chun and the character of Duke.

What’s going on here is rather simple: During this installment, you’re going to see Duke targeted as a result of him stealing evidence from a police locker. That’s clearly a bad thing; yet, there is a very specific intention for it. His granddaughter has been kidnapped and when you consider that family is family, he is obviously going to do just about everything that he can in order to help her. This could be emotional and we certainly welcome that. This marks a chance to see Chun shine in some ways that we have not seen so far this season. As someone who loves great performances we certainly find that exciting.

As for what else is coming within this episode, there’s going to be a chance to see a really entertaining story that could hopefully contain some fun material for Jorge Garcia in the process. Jerry’s going undercover at a mental health facility in order to help solve a murder, and this should prove fascinating just in terms of seeing how he navigates what can be a very challenging situation. Not everyone may be altogether welcoming and that is something that he’s just going to have to contend with.

Following this episode, there is (alas) only three more episodes to go this season. Within those, we’re going to see some dangerous situations, returning guest stars like Terry O’Quinn, and also a chance to tie together most of what we’ve seen so far in season 8. All in all, we’re happy with what Hawaii Five-0 has brought to the table and we’re hopeful for a chance to see more moving into season 9.
