In the aftermath of the Triple Eviction, it may appear on the surface that a whole lot of hope is lost for Will, Maddy, and Paras on Big Brother Canada 6. Yet, there is still one move that they can make to secure themselves all spots within the final four.
Last night, the trio had a conversation that served as a great reminder to them all of one thing: Much of the game this week doesn’t matter outside of the Veto and whoever isn’t nominated needs to win that. Let’s say that Will and Paras are nominated by new Head of Household, which has been discussed — if Maddy ends up winning the Veto, she can remove one of them and Derek automatically goes on the block. If Maddy removes Will, she and Will can control the vote and evict Derek from the game.
What’s the big issue here? It’s really this simple: The trio has been collectively terrible in competitions. Kaela and Derek individually have won more competitions that the three of them combined and there is very little reason to think that anything is going to change at this point in the game. It’s possible that players can turn it on and when late when they absolutely need to but we think that it helps for them to get at least a decent competition performance or two under their belt first. They need to have some element of confidence that they can do something and we’re not altogether sure that any of these people have that.
If Kaela and Derek get their way, their desired target does appear to be Maddy, and since Kaela can break the tie they’ll be able to do whatever they want this week. We’re not going to set their eviction plan in stone right now given that it’s only early Friday morning and much of this conversation is coming from late Thursday night.
