Blindspot season 4 renewal: Three ways to make it happen
At this given point in the season, we do think that both NBC and the fan base both can do a little bit more in order to promote the series and give it at least a reasonable chance at another batch of episodes. We want to see it happen, after all, so why not get creative and start to think more about how it can come together? We do think we’ve got some worthy suggests worth checking out below.
1. A little more attention to repeat airings – Whether it be on Saturdays or after some other shows conclude, we’d like to see NBC really start to give Blindspot some of the attention that they did during the first two seasons. We don’t necessarily think that they’ve abandoned it per se, but it definitely isn’t getting the same level of love at the network that it once did and that’s unfortunate. Any show needs exposure and there may be some casual viewers out there from the first two seasons who simply forgot that it was airing on Friday nights and haven’t had a chance to really check it out.
2. Longer promos – One of the things that we wish NBC would get back to was creating commercials / promotional spots that were thirty seconds in length again. As it is, we’re really not sure that 10-15 second promos really do much in terms of moving the needle or drawing attention for new viewers.
3. Social-media campaigns – Whether it is #RenewBlindspot or #SaveBlindspot, we do think it would be beneficial for some fans to come together, select a specified time to tweet (maybe during an episode), and then try to get it trending. Do everything in your power to make sure that NBC knows how devoted and loud Blindspot fans can be. Make it clear that they will regret letting the show go if they choose to do that.
