Chicago Med season 3 finale: troubling challenges are ahead for the doctors

“05/15/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Dr. Rhodes second guesses his decision to remove himself from the team of doctors who work to separate conjoined twins. Dr. Choi and April make a startling discovery about his sister, Emily, and Dr. Charles uncovers troubling information concerning Dr. Reese’s father. TV-14.”
The writers have laid clues down for us regarding Ethan’s sister and how she is hiding something and it appears like that is going to hit a breaking point. If fans will recall when Ethan and April invited Emily to stay at Ethan’s apartment, April discovered that she had people over and they were smoking. This put both Ethan and April in an awkward position, but Emily convinced them it would not happen again. Last night the two discovered that Emily had been homeless. So what else could be brought to the light? Did she convert back to her old ways? It’s definitely possible given the hints that have dropped. We know that something is going to happen that could possible make Emily and her brother distant again. However, we know Ethan wants Emily in his life, he jus doesn’t want the baggage that she carries and the choices she makes. He’s helped her in the past and he came back to bite him, so we can understand why he’d be apprehensive to help her again.
Connor has taken himself on the conjoined twins surgery and we aren’t surprised that he has some regrets. He’s a driven person who’s always looking to tackle a medical challenge. Not necessarily for the glory, but mostly because it’s a chance to be apart of surgery that you do not see everyday.
Meanwhile, Dr. Charles and Sarah will once again have tension between them. When Sarah’s father showed up suddenly, he came to Dr. Charles for help and advice. When Sarah found out she was upset and there was a little awkwardness in the room. This time Dr. Charles makes a discovery that’s concerning. What could this be? It could another medical issue or it could be something Sarah’s father is lying about. While we don’t know exactly what it is, we can probably guess that it is something that could change not only Sarah and her father’s relationship, but her and Dr. Charles’ relationship too.
