The Big Bang Theory season 11 finale spoilers: More on Amy, Sheldon’s wedding
This may actually be the most emotional episode of The Big Bang Theory to air to date when you think about it. We’ve seen this Sheldon character evolve now for more than a decade. We’ve seen him become so much more than just the guy who said nerdy, obnoxious things in the pilot. It was impossible to imagine in the early going that he would ever get married. This journey has been marvelous as a result of that. We want this wedding to be funny, as most episodes of the series are, but we’re also hoping for an array of other emotions. We want it to be reflective, heartfelt, and a real celebration of everything that we have witnessed these characters go through over time. Sheldon’s met someone who understands him, and for Amy, she’s found someone who she’s always loved on an intellectual and physical level.
Yet, judging from The Big Bang Theory season 11 finale synopsis below, it does seem that Sheldon and Amy could be planning some chaos before they go down the aisle:
“The Bow Tie Asymmetry” – When Amy’s (Mayim Bialik) parents and Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) family arrive, everybody is focused to make sure all goes according to plan – everyone except the bride and groom. Kathy Bates, John Ross Bowie, Mark Hamill, Courtney Henggeler, Lauren Lapkus, Laurie Metcalf, Jerry O’Connell, Brian Posehn, Teller, and Wil Wheaton guest star. 11th season finale.
Are Shamy going to effectively take away the big thing that we are wanting to see from their celebration of marriage? Based on some of the details that we’ve got that is very well possible. Yet, we remain hopeful, mostly because this would be one of the most depressing finales ever in the event that the two didn’t tie the knot and spontaneously broke up.
