The 100 season 5 episode 2 preview: Octavia’s story in ‘Red Queen’

The 100 season 5 episode 2

While the season premiere spent a great deal of time on the ground showcasing Clarke and her new world, it appears that The 100 season 5 episode 2 is going to shift the focus to the bunker. We’ll start to get a sense as to how some characters are functioning within their new environment. In particular, it does seem as though Octavia is going to be in the spotlight. For fans of that character, and there are plenty of those out there, it definitely feels as though there is some rich, interesting subject matter. Be prepared for some memorable moments, but also some surprises. These characters may still be in for some rude awakenings.

The 100 season 5 episode 2 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some additional insight when it comes to some of the finer details:

GUIDANCE – Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is forced to take guidance from an unlikely ally when the future of the bunker and all those inside it is jeopardized. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. P.J. Pesce directed the episode written by Terri Hughes Burton (#502). Original airdate 5/1/2018.

This is something that you better get used to throughout the remainder of this season: The CW doesn’t love to give away a whole lot of information when it comes to the show in advance. Given just how serialized The 100 is, this is not a show you want to get a whole of information on in advance.

To go along with some of these previews we’ll have some ratings discussions coming up in the future. Hopefully, we’re going to have a chance to see a season 6 renewal announcement before the CW upfronts — we don’t want the stress of waiting forever in order to know the series’ future!
