Lucifer season 3 spoilers: Who’s fighting for Lucifer and Chloe now?

Following tonight’s new episode of Lucifer, who are we going to be seeing fight hard in Lucifer’s corner? The answer to that question may help to ease at least some of the pain that stems from the end of tonight’s episode. Let’s face it — it’s still not altogether easy to digest the fact that Chloe Decker accepted Marcus Pierce’s marriage proposal. Maybe she just did that in the moment and she will change her mind on it late but, for now, this is a moment that could change the lifes of many different characters. This could also completely devastate Lucifer given that for most of this episode, he assumed as though he was going to be able to win her over with gestures and money.

Now that Lucifer knows how exactly he messed things up, the irony here is that he may not be able to do anything in order to change it. He may have to rely on some others for help … and here comes Amenadiel and Charlotte! They’re apparently two of the biggest Deckerstar ‘shippers out there and some of their work may prove somewhat invaluable to being able to lend a helping hand.

In speaking on this subject a little bit more in a new interview with TVLine, show executive producer Joe Henderson had the following to say:

“Amenadiel has thought pretty much all season that God is testing him to sort of have Lucifer’s back and watch over him. And of course Charlotte is trying to gain her way into Heaven … so she ends up teaming up with Amenadiel to try to somehow get Lucifer and Chloe together, because they both think that’s God’s will.”

Okay, so maybe the two are helping out Lucifer with their own ulterior motives in mind … but do you really think that Lucifer is going to be altogether choosy about who helps him? He’s not exactly in that sort of position and will likely need just about every little bit of help that he can in order to change the narrative. (We really hope there’s time to do that before the end of the season.)
