The Flash season 4 finale could reveal Mystery Girl’s identity
What we know at the moment is simply this: She’s very much interested in what’s going on with Barry and Iris, and has at least some serious interest in many of the other characters in their lives. She’s extremely enthusiastic and seems to understand some of the same mysterious symbols that Barry was using after coming back from the Speed Force fairly early on this season.
According to TV Guide, you are going to know by the end of the season a little bit more about who this character (played by Jessica Parker Kennedy) is and just what it is she wants. This seems very much like it is setting up to be a major season 5 story and that’s something worth being excited about. The obvious theory here is that this character is Barry and Iris’ daughter who is from the future, and she certainly bears some of the physical resemblance in order for that to be true. However, this is a show that does like to throw a few wrinkles on top of just about every twist and it feels almost too easy at the moment to say that she’s related to Barry and Iris. There could be something so much more to this mystery and we know that personally, we’re very much excited to see what that something could be.
Let’s just hope that no matter what, this reveal is an exciting one and helps to set the stage for whatever comes next. Season 5 should premiere on The CW this fall and filming should kick off for it at some point over the summer.
