Once Upon a Time season 7 spoilers: Lana Parrilla on Sean Maguire’s return

Once Upon a Time season 7, and the series as a whole on ABC, is going to be going out with a bang. One of the ways in which that is happening is by bringing out the likes of Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jennifer Morrison, and many other longtime favorites for one last bow.

The main focus for this particular article, though, is the return of Sean Maguire as Robin Hood. His relationship with Regina was one of the most passionate in the show’s history, which was what in turn made his untimely death so devastating. The one character who had worked the hardest in order to earn redemption now found himself in a spot where it didn’t appear like such a thing would be possible. That was a devastating thing to think about, but unfortunately, there did not appear to be an obvious way in which to turn things back so that they could have their happily ever after.

Or … is there? The thing with Once Upon a Time that we’ve learned many times over is that a death does not necessarily have to be forever. We’ve seen characters could back from all sorts of unspeakable conditions and there’s also a reasonably good shot that this (or some other phenomenon) could happen here.

While Lana Parrilla is hesitant to share too many details at present (we are talking here about the final episodes of the season!), she did pass along the following message right away to TV Guide:

“It is all of what you hoped. It’s beautiful and it’s Outlaw Queen. It’s their beautiful dream and their loving relationship.”

If that quote doesn’t make your head explode to some degree, it’s really rather hard to know what will. While we don’t want to get too excited about the prospect of what could be coming up for the two of them, at the same time this sounds like it is going to make people very much happy. Now, we’re left to think about precisely what is going to get us to this point.
