Suits season 7 finale promo: The Mike – Rachel wedding is here
This wedding marks the chance to really culminate the story of these two characters, who have been a part of the show from the beginning and have been on this course for a rather long time. Unfortunately, this wedding is also presumably the last time that you are going to see these characters on the show, as well — Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle are each departing following the finale. The reasons for the latter are certainly well-documented, and we almost do wonder if USA would be promoting the wedding anywhere near as hard in the event that there wasn’t another major wedding happening at some point this spring. The specter of loyalty hangs over all!
Within this episode, be prepared to see a lot of romance, and not necessarily just for Mike and Rachel. You can see Louis and Sheila in attendance and there’s always the potential for something big for Donna and Harvey as we round out this season and look forward to whatever the future holds. There will be another season beyond this — whether or not that works without Adams and Markle remains to be seen. It will be different, but that does not necessarily mean that it will be bad. It just will have a very different sort of flavor to it than anything that we have seen on the show so far.
If you love Suits, the finale (which technically airs as the second of two hours) is a must-watch. This is your chance to commemorate the end of a great TV relationship, and then also to see what other sort of trouble awaits the firm. This is Suits, so they are obviously still going to touch on more than just a wedding.
