Where is Adam on Hawaii Five-0? Ian Anthony Dale’s status
At the end of this past episode, Ian Anthony Dale’s character made a decision that he wanted to leave Hawaii after seeing that it was not going to be easy for him to fight against organized crime any longer. He’d already lost his CI Jessie and it was pretty darn clear that things were not going to be getting any better for him soon.
Yet, there was another twist in the death’s of Adam’s half-sister in the closing seconds. Was he involved in that? That was the cliffhanger at the end of that episode.
The one thing that is clear at the moment is Dale’s busy schedule. He’s been incredibly busy as of late in between this show and his other series in Salvation, which is returning later this year to CBS. We knew going into this season that he was going to have to leave at some point in order to head back to film that show and we may be at that point at the moment. If this does mark the end of Adam’s story for now, the good news is this: It’s hard to imagine his story ending like this. There’s a whole lot more story to tell with him, even if it is rather difficult to imagine him and Kono continuing to spend so much time apart.
As for some good news, CBS already renewed Hawaii Five-0 for a season 9 — beyond that, all signs point to series stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan sticking around for another batch of episodes. There’s a lot to be excited about there so hopefully, we are going to get a chance to learn some more news on Ian Anthony Dale, as well, in the near future.
