SWAT episode 19 spoilers: Jim Street’s decision

SWAT episode 19

When SWAT episode 19 comes onto CBS in one week’s time, there is going to be with that many a decision that Jim Street has to make. He’s already had to figure out how to fit in with his fellow team members at work. Now, he has to figure out whether or not his mother fits into his life at home. That is not going to be an easy task, and it’s one that he will receive some advice on before trying to figure it out. Were his mom not coming back from prison, we feel like maybe that decision wouldn’t be anywhere near as challenging.

Below, the SWAT episode 19 synopsis offers up some more insight as to just what is going to be coming up:

“Source” – Jim Street debates whether or not his mother, Karen (Sherilyn Fenn), should live with him upon her prison release after Hondo and Chris warn him against it. Also, Hondo and the team are assigned to protect Irina Zemanova (Anya Monzikova), a high-profile Russian journalist visiting Los Angeles, from being assassinated, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, April 26 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The obviously merit of this story is that it does give you some great material for the Jim Street character, which is something that we’re never going to be upset about. Beyond that, we are also getting to see a very different sort of mission for Hondo and the team than we’re used to. This is not just about them saving the day in the midst of a crisis; it’s about working to ensure a crisis doesn’t happen, though there will probably be something crazy that happens along the way.

The promo below basically does confirm that a crisis is coming — especially in the form of bioterrorism. Is the team going to be prepared for something like that?
