Big Brother Canada 6: Was Ryan Ballantine or Johnny Mulder evicted?

Ryan Ballantine

The latest Big Brother Canada 6 eviction on Thursday night actually carried with it a certain degree of intrigue, mostly because there was a pretty interesting vote flip over the course of the past several days.

At this time a few days ago we felt fairly confident that Johnny Mulder was going to be the person evicted from the game — heck, we also think that he should’ve been the person sent home if people want to win the game. They need to trust in their own abilities to win competitions since Johnny has a much better shot at winning in the end than Ryan ever did. We know that other players (see Ali or Olivia) are going to want to take credit for this but, in our mind, this is really all the handiwork of Johnny. He’s the person who really put forward the effort to get people to flip and he’s the one who never game up. This is a huge point on his resume in the event that he does make it to the end of the game.

Not only did Ryan go home tonight, but the vote was unanimous. That’s the craziest part of it. Not a single person chose to give Ryan some support in that form. (To be fair, Paras told him that she wasn’t going to do that in advance, saying that she didn’t want to risk her own game for his sake.)

Ultimately, we’ll say goodbye to Ryan — we’ll give him some credit for trying to play the game at times this season; however, he wasn’t anywhere near as good at it as he thought he would be. He just wasn’t altogether influential to really anyone.

Ultimately, be ready for some big things in the house — next week is a Triple Eviction, as has been speculated for some time.
